      Rice, Rice & Smith, P.C. was founded in June of 2008 as the result of the merger of Bruce M. Rice, Dwight K. Rice and Cary F. Smith. Rice & Rice, P.C., initially located in Oxford in 1988 and Cary F. Smith has practiced continually in Calhoun County since 1974. (Please see “Attorneys” tab for a brief biography of each attorney).

Our office currently has 9 staff members in addition to the 3 attorneys who are qualified to assist clients’ requests for real estate closings, title insurance and related matters in a courteous, professional manner.

Our staff provides excellent turnaround time for title orders in the following counties (normally 2 to 3 days) in Alabama and can assist with closings or title insurance in other areas of Alabama due to its agency relationship with both Mississippi Valley Title Insurance Company/Old Republic National Title Insurance Company and First American Title Insurance Company:
